Suzie is our cheerful, upbeat and caring leader with an energy that draws people in. After diving into her self-taught love of Web development in 2002, she’s taken on every challenge set before her and has grown Red Technologies from the ground up. Suzie’s boisterous personality and excitement for the work Red Tech does makes her a fast friend to many.

The company’s continued growth has led to an increase in staff, which allows Suzie to have a little free time every now and then, during which you can often find her running (15+ marathons to date) or biking. Her love of networking and socializing extends outside the business as she truly loves meeting new people. If you catch Suzie on the phone (on Bluetooth of course) while she’s driving between meetings with clients or keeping up with her three children, you might hear 80s music blaring from her stereo. (We try not to judge.) A big fan of the comedies Christmas Vacation and Uncle Buck, Suzie also has a secret love for books and movies by romance author Nicholas Sparks. Running Red Tech is what she loves most and it seems nothing will stop her in her tracks—except maybe snakes and bats. She has a serious fear of both.

Joe is our behind-the-scenes guy, working hard to make clients’ websites work best for them. As our Software Developer, Joe listens to what our clients want and creates software to help solve their problems. And he really knows his stuff. Joe has four different computer and IT-based degrees, with 10 years of experience in web development, five in software development and 14 as a systems administrator (some of those roles overlapped). His favorite type of projects involve developing back-end Web API’s. Some of us have no idea what that means, but his wide-ranging technology skill set makes him a real asset to Red Tech and our clients. Even in his spare time, you can find Joe tinkering with new software ideas. But when this newlywed does get away from the computer, he enjoys bowling, golf and weight lifting, as well as spending time with his wife and three dogs. His future goals include working his way up in the IT field, and someday he’d love to take a trip to New Zealand.

Sarah has been working in IT-related jobs since 2012 and her work at Red Tech includes working with clients to identify their needs, updating and editing content on websites, developing web pages and organizing page placement. Sarah, who loves dogs and used to compete in dog sledding, can not only lead a team of Siberian Huskies, but can also build and manage client websites. Sarah enjoys the outdoors where she spends her time running, fishing and snowboarding. Someday, she’d love to snowboard in the Alps. She also loves hip-hop and rock music, her husband’s sourdough pancakes and watching comedies. On the job, Sarah considers herself an introvert who enjoys working with HTML and back-end coding, but admits she can get a little chatty when you get to know her. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail make her a valuable asset to the Red Tech team.

Jeremiah helps Red Tech clients with rebranding and marketing. He enjoys looking at the long term, setting a solid foundation and looking beyond the quick return to what will help clients succeed in the future. He is very organized and can juggle multiple things at once, including flaming torches. Really! When he isn’t marketing or creating content, Jeremiah can be found playing music on the acoustic bass. A family man, Jeremiah enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and two kids, doing yard work and maintaining and clean eating lifestyle. Despite his a fear of heights and flying, his work at Red Tech helps elevate our clients to the next level.

Kelly is one of Red Tech’s Project Managers, who truly enjoys learning about a client’s business and figuring out how to best help them achieve their goals. Her personality is both easygoing and straightforward and she loves to laugh. A mother of four with a cat, four dogs and 10 chickens, Kelly excels at organization both at home and on the job. She keeps Red Tech projects on schedule, excels at troubleshooting and brings excitement to the team—as long as she doesn’t miss her morning coffee. In her free time, she enjoys watching Masterpiece Theater, reading, biking and traveling. She loves farming chickens and spending time with her children.

Kristy has been with Red Tech since 2014 and is one of our Project Managers working to keep everyone and everything on track. Kristy keeps a close eye on project deadlines, is extremely organized and enjoys meeting new people. She always has a smile on her face and her friendly, outgoing personality makes her a pleasure to work with. This mother of three enjoys reading and has a new-found passion for running with her sights set on completing a half marathon yet this year. She thinks sushi is the ultimate food and has a love for reality television, including The Bachelor. Kristy’s job is to keep our clients projects sailing straight ahead, but you won’t catch her going in circles as she has a fear of spinning.

Building relationships is what Bjorna does best, but she’s expanding her skills by assisting with Web Development projects and has also been brought in to assist Red Tech with blogging and managing social media accounts. This mother of three is an excellent multi-tasker and is great with deadlines. When she isn’t busy at a chamber event, you can find her competing in a weekly women’s basketball league, working out and running, which she calls “training for life.” She’ll eat most anything (but hold the cilantro) and she loves reality television shows like The Amazing Race and Survivor. Maybe those shows take her back to her 20s when she backpacked through Europe, ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, and spent a summer in Ireland.

Donna is a 2014 graduate of St. Cloud State University and brings her design skills to Red Tech as our Graphic Designer. Donna loves creating illustrations, but also helps clients create flyers, brochures, email blasts and assists with website design. As one of 12 children, Donna enjoys working with others and has perfected the art of multitasking. She brings her energetic and outgoing personality to the job each and every day. Outside of work, Donna keeps the creativity going through painting and drawing, but also enjoys reading, running and being outdoors. Her love of pork chops, Rice-A-Roni and chocolate is nearly as dear to her heart as the Harry Potter series. Her positive nature has made her a great addition to the Red Tech team, but don’t stick her in a small space as she’s extremely claustrophobic.

Heather brings strong writing skills to Red Technologies and enjoys learning about a client’s business and finding ways to best market their abilities to their customers. With a background in newspaper and magazine writing and a degree in Journalism, Heather brings creativity and storytelling skills to the company along with a strong knowledge of proper punctuation and grammar. She won’t go all Grammar Nazi on you, but she makes sure our client’s content is as professional as their business. She is married with two young children and keeps a hidden stash of chocolate where they’ll never find it. Heather owns a photography business and enjoys taking photos of families and children. She has an unhealthy addiction to HGTV, enjoys romantic comedies and hopes to visit Alaska and Paris someday.

As one of our Social Media Specialists, Laura loves keeping up with industry-related news and making sure your business is getting seen on all social media platforms. She enjoys learning about new businesses and researching their competition to stay ahead of the game in the social world. Laura, her husband and their two children enjoy Star Wars, super heroes and Legos and are often waiting at the store when a new Lego set is launched. The family also shows Pinto horses. In her spare time, Laura enjoys Stephen King novels and Mexican food. She loves helping others and having face-to-face interactions with clients. Laura is a University of Minnesota graduate and would love to travel to Europe someday to explore her Swedish heritage.

Leah is one of our project managers and loves using her organization and communication skills to keep Red Tech’s many projects on or ahead of schedule. This mother of two busy kids enjoys recreational running, going to the gym, spending time with family and socializing with friends. Leah loves watching prime-time dramas, including Scandal. She’s not a competitive person and you certainly won’t find her skydiving anytime soon. Leah is detail-oriented, outgoing, on time and loves making a positive impact with Red Tech clients.

Jenny enjoys being creative and crafty and that’s why she excels as a graphic designer. After working in the marketing department at North Hennepin Community College for 10 years, Jenny was ready for something new and joined our Red Tech team of creative collaborators. She is a fan of all things design and can geek out over color trends and typography, but especially loves how great design can solve challenges in unique and beautiful ways. She has great organizational skills, enjoys working both with others and independently to get a project done, and could eat popcorn on a daily basis. Jenny enjoys reading – especially anything by Margaret Atwood – writing, and watching Doctor Who. When she isn’t helping Red Tech clients with their design needs, you might find Jenny hanging out with her husband and three children, hitting the pavement with her runner friends or jumping on the dance floor with the local swing dance crowd.
