Now more than ever, small businesses are reevaluating their sales goals and tactics. The last few months have shifted how consumers are interacting, and an effective website is a powerful tool for every company to use. If you haven’t thought about a website refresh since blackberries and stylus’ reigned, you’re long overdue.

Technology changes by leaps and bounds every year, as does the functionality and security of websites. Developers and marketers are constantly introducing new ways to help small businesses grow through an online brand. But don’t take our advice, read on to learn more from our valued client, Commercial Drywall.

Who is Commercial Drywall? Commercial Drywall is a forerunner in construction innovation, leading the Twin Cities in framing and gypsum contracting services. For more than 25 years, this family-owned business has been exceeding the industry standard in all of their public and private sector projects.

Prior to this year, they had an outdated website that was unable to showcase completed projects, feature their team, or educate clients on the values Commercial Drywall held dear. The site was not updated regularly (therefore not secure, showing few organic SEO results), while leaving potential sales opportunities online up for grabs.

Aligning goals. Our friends at Commercial Drywall knew it was time for a change. They recognized the value of telling their story and highlighting services offered in order to be competitive for new clients. Commercial Drywall wanted to make communication and usage easy for customers, with a well-designed site that allowed photos and completed projects to speak for the quality of work they achieve. The team at Commercial Drywall wanted a new site to broaden their customer base and enter a more competitive field.

On a personal note, Commercial Drywall wanted to highlight their founder, who died suddenly earlier this spring. Their goal was to debut a new website by his birthday in June to celebrate his life and legacy.

Dream big. Developers and designers at Red Technologies were thrilled to be able to showcase our talents in web design and marketing. Our team worked hard within a tight timeframe to exceed the expectations of our client.

“Red Technologies took on our project with a tight deadline, they turned it around on time, guiding us the whole way to make sure they communicated to us each day so we could get them the information they needed to proceed,” says Commercial Drywall President Heather Hoffman. “Our project manager, Bjorna, was a great communicator and took our desires and needs to heart. We love our new website!”
